IM Series 

Designed for performance and convenience, the Hoshizaki IM Series ice machines incorporate smart computer board technology for smooth operation. A slide-in air filter allows for quick and easy cleaning, while the LED error indicator supports fast troubleshooting. This ice cube maker also features a durable stainless steel exterior that guarantees its longevity while the freely stacked combination system enables you to effortlessly adjust the ice production as needed. The IM Series ice machines are a flexible solution for just about any setting. 

KM Series

The Hoshizaki KM Series ice machines produce crescent-shaped ice cubes, with a production capacity ranging from 41kg to 590kg in 24 hours depending on the model. The ice cube machines feature a double-sided stainless steel evaporator, which reduces energy consumption and the number of cycles needed to produce a full bin of ice. The air filter is easily cleanable and you can perform routine maintenance by yourself, extending the life expectancy of your ice machine. The ice-making process is computer-controlled and optimised, eliminating the need for physical adjustments.

KMD Series

The Hoshizaki KMD Series, with its durable stainless steel exterior, is designed for small businesses such as cafes, bars, and restaurants. These ice machines reliably produce large quantities of crescent-shaped ice, ranging from 175kg to 255kg, depending on the model. The KMD Series offers you the flexibility to scale output to meet increasing demand while its intelligent control circuit supports energy savings in water and power consumption. 

Flaker Series 

The Hoshizaki Flaker Series ice machine produces up to 890kg of shaved ice (depending on the flaker ice machine you select) using a durable stainless steel auger system, which includes a stainless steel freezing cylinder and an auger that shaves ice and moves it upward. This flake ice machine also features the Advanced CleanCycle24, which removes impurities and minerals from the water system, as well as a removable, cleanable air filter that protects the machine from dust and grease. Additionally, the Flaker Series offers easy access for service and maintenance from the front of the unit.

Nugget Series 

The Hoshizaki Nugget Series ice machine features an automatic flush function for easy cleaning and an efficient auger system that minimises water waste. The nugget ice maker produces up to 730kg of ice per day, which is the ideal shape for showcasing fresh seafood and bottled beverages for commercial refrigeration. Additionally, the controller board provides operational status updates to aid in troubleshooting.

DCM Series 

The compact size of the Hoshizaki DCM Series makes it suitable for various industries, including hospitality and healthcare. Its portion control feature, which allows for regulation of ice consumption, makes it ideal for self-service environments. With a simple push-button operation, the DCM Series dispenses ice, water, or both. The auger system ensures that water consumption is equal to ice production, and depending on the model, the DCM Series can produce up to 105kg of ice per day.

DB Series 

The Hoshizaki DB Series ice and water dispenser has a storage capacity of up to 90kg and dispenses ice at a rate of 5kg per minute, making it ideal for hotels and worksites. Its unique ice production system creates crescent-shaped ice which is automatically stored in an enclosed bin to prevent contamination. The DB Series also features a push-button for easy dispensing of ice, water, or both.  

Service & Warranty 

Hoshizaki provides a 3-year parts and labor warranty on the entire KM/KMD/IM series ice machine unit, with a 5-year warranty on the evaporator (parts and labor), and compressor and air cooled condenser coil (parts only). 

The DB Dispenser has a 2-year parts and labor warranty. 

The FM & DCM series has a 2-year parts and labor warranty on the entire unit and a 5-year parts-only warranty on the compressor and air cooled condenser.

Extended warranties are available for all ice machine units if registered within 30 days of purchase, providing an additional six months of coverage.

What is the difference between curve, crescent, nugget, flake and ice-and-water dispenser models?

We offer several different ice types, each designed for specific applications:

• Cube ice is clear, hard, slow-melting ice cubes that are ideal for cocktails or premium beverages.
• Crescent ice is half-moon-shaped and designed to maximise storage capacity while reducing splashing in high-volume hospitality environments.

Are extended warranties available?

Yes, Hoshizaki Australia offers an extended warranty through online registration. Ice machines are eligible for an additional six months’ warranty when you register within 30 days of purchase. Registration can be completed via our warranty form here.
