Change Your Water Filter the Right Way
To ensure your Hoshizaki ice machine produces clean, clear ice, using a water filtration system is essential. Filters trap harmful contaminants and reduce limescale buildup, helping your machine run more efficiently while improving ice quality.

How to Change the Filter Cartridge
- Turn off the unit and water inlet.
- Relieve pressure by opening the flushing valve.
- Remove old filter: Push up, twist left, pull down.
- Insert new filter: Align lug with label, push up, twist right.
- Repeat for additional cartridges (if needed).
- Flush the filter: Open water inlet and flush valve for 5 minutes. Close valve.
- Restore power to the ice machine.
When to Replace Your Filter
